Bust of Niels Bohr, seen upon entering the Niels Institute Building. Niels Bohr matriculated the Copenhagen University in 1903, graduating in 1911 with his doctorate. He then studied in England and returned to Denmark in 1916. The University of Copenhagen erected the building in 1920 for Bohr's research programs.
